The Final Boss shocked everyone a few days back when he asked for Cody’s soul and asked him to decide till the 2025 Elimination Chamber. The American Nightmare stated that his soul belongs to his fans and dropped an F-Bomb on Rock. What followed sent shockwaves across the WWE Universe, and its aftershock will be felt for months now. John Cena turned heel on Cody, joined The Rock, and both brutally assaulted him.

What Happened to Cody Rhodes?

Cody Rhodes suffered brutal injuries at the hands of Travis Scott, The Rock, and John Cena. Travis Scott slapped Cody, and that ruptured his eardrum. Travis Scott’s slap gave him a black eye. The assault didn’t stop, as Cody was busted open on his forehead by John Cena’s assault. John Cena hit him with the WWE Undisputed title twice on his head. The Rock joined and brutalized Cody with a custom-made belt with Cody’s soul imprinted on it.

Wade Barrett, Michael Cole, and Pat McAfee helped Cody leave the ring after the event went off-air. Cody Rhodes was not only wounded outside the body; the assault broke his heart, as he idealised John Cena like every other living soul. The same can be seen on his face when he was leaving the arena. John Cena and Cody Rhodes will face each other at the WrestleMania Main Event for the WWE Undisputed Championship.

Revenge on the card for Cody Rhodes as he might get back to Travis Scott very soon

The injuries to Cody Rhodes might heal in a few weeks, but the injuries sustained to his mind and his soul are not going to heal soon. The American Nightmare would be waiting for Travis Scott to appear again so that he could teach him not to meddle with professional wrestlers again. Cody’s return to WWE is imminent, and his return might coincide with John Cena’s as the latter is scheduled to appear on Monday Night Raw on March 17, 2025.
