CM Punk and Sami Zayn are finally banding together as a tag team. The two of them are on a collision course with their arch-enemies Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Their match will take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, 2025. CM Punk and Roman Reigns were originally having the feud with Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker after Paul Heyman betrayed them both at WrestleMania 41. However, both Roman Reigns and CM Punk missed out some weeks due to keyface injuries.

The trio of Rollins, Breakker and Paul Heyman next targeted Sami Zayn and brutalized him. This led to CM Punk’s eventual return during Seth Rollins’ title match against Jey Uso. CM Punk and Sami Zayn eventually joined forces against Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman. Thus, the tag team match is official. Sami Zayn’s issue with Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman started on the week after Raw after WrestleMania. Seth Rollins as usual started Monday Night Rollins with Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman at his side. Sami Zayn confronted them and called Seth Rollins hypocritical. However, Seth Rollins initially offered for Sami Zayn to leave Monday Night Raw peacefully. Sami Zayn however refused to do so and this resulted in a match between Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker. Sami Zayn unfortunately got viciously assaulted by both Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins (via WWE on YouTube).

Seth Rollins then faced off against Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight title the very next week. Sami Zayn however, also was present to even the odds against his friend Jey Uso. However, CM Punk returned to Monday Night Raw and saved Jey Uso and Sami Zayn (via WWE on YouTube).

This was followed by CM Punk being attacked by Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker this week on Monday Night Raw. However, Sami Zayn made the save this time and Jey Uso contributed to helping them too (WWE on YouTube). Hence, CM Punk and Sami Zayn vs Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker tag team match is official.

CM Punk along with Sami Zayn is all set to square off against Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker on May 24, 2025. Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker will be winning the match. This is because Sami Zayn might betray CM Punk and align himself with Seth Rollins. Notably, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn have been friends even before they joined the WWE.

Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn both wrestled at Ring of Honor (ROH). Seth Rollins’s name was Tyler Black while Sami Zayn was a luchador named El Generico. Sami Zayn (El Generico) and Kevin Owens (Kevin Steen) had defeated The Age of the Fall faction consisting of Seth Rollins (Tyler Black) and Jimmy Jacobs.
