Cleveland Browns Schedule 2025 Season – Cleveland Browns Regular Season Games, Dates, Locations, and More

Devavrat Kulkarni

Here is the schedule for the Browns' 2025 season

Cleveland entered the 2024 season on the back of a rare postseason appearance in 2023 after finishing second in the AFC North with an 11-6 record. Although they took a beating at the hands of the Houston Texans by a tune of 45-14 in the Wild Card round that year, their season showed promise.

More was expected from quarterback Deshaun Watson after he played in only 6 games in 2023, sitting out the rest of the season due to a broken bone in his throwing shoulder. Unfortunately, though, Watson and the Browns started 1-6 before he suffered yet another season-ending injury, this time being an Achilles tear.

The Browns went on to finish with a terrible 3-14 record, finishing last in their division and tied with the Titans and the Giants for the worst records in the league. The only bright side for Cleveland is that they had the number 2 overall pick in the recently concluded draft, but they decided to trade down for more draft capital this year and next year.

Since the Browns are part of the AFC, they will have the advantage of playing 9 home games and 8 away games this season. Each year, the NFL alternates between the AFC and the NFC so that every team gets 9 home games once in two years. This year, though, the Browns will play an international game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, UK.

Cleveland Browns 2025 Season Home Games

Thus, Cleveland will play 3 of those home games against their AFC North divisional rivals, the Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers. As each division plays another division in the same conference on a rotational basis, the AFC North will play teams from the AFC East this year. The two home games for Cleveland will be against the Bills and the Dolphins.

Similarly, each division from the AFC plays teams from one division in the NFC on a rotational basis, and this year, the AFC North takes on the NFC North. The Browns will have two home games against the Packers and the Vikings. The final two home games will be against one fourth-placed team from the AFC and one from the NFC. Cleveland will play the Titans and the 49ers.

Cleveland Browns 2025 Season Away Games

Coming to the Browns’ road games, Cleveland will have their customary 3 games against divisional opponents, the Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers. Then, they will play the remaining 2 teams from the AFC East and the NFC North, which are the Jets, Patriots, Lions, and Bears, respectively. The final away game will be against another AFC team that finished fourth in their division last year, and that will be against the Raiders from the AFC West.

Cleveland Browns 2025 NFL Draft Picks

The Browns were in a great position to select one of the top talents in this year’s draft as they held the number 2 overall pick. While it was nearly certain the Titans would select Cam Ward ahead of them, the Browns could have gone for Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter, but instead they traded down to the 5th spot, where they ended up taking defensive tackle Mason Graham. In all fairness to Graham, this is by no means a bad pick at all, it’s just that Carter or Hunter are better prospects.

Moreover, the Browns also ended up selecting quarterback Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round. Sanders’ draft slide was a huge shock to many, as he was expected to be a first-round draft pick.

I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
