Maresca on PSG’s Strength and Chelsea’s Approach

Maresca was candid about the challenge posed by PSG, widely regarded as the world’s best team. Talking about how the Parisians have achieved a lot in recent months, Maresca acknowledged the challenge. Addressing the toughness PSG possesses, Maresca talked about how he plans to face the challenge as he told the media:

”I agree with most of the people who said, that they are the best in Europe, the best in the world. And the reason why is because they are showing this, they showed France, they showed the Champions League, they are showing this competition, we have maximum respect for them.”

Talking about how he will take on the flourishing French side, Mareaca continued:

“Every game is different. We are going to try our best for a good game.”

“I try to see where we can hurt them, I try to see where I can prevent them from hurting us, and from there I prepare the game.”

Maresca’s comments highlight his admiration for PSG and manager Luis Enrique, while emphasising Chelsea’s intent to exploit weaknesses and stick to their identity. His focus on detailed preparation underscores the tactical battle awaiting in the final.
