Who Has the Most Wins in the British Grand Prix?

Lewis Hamilton is the best driver at the British Grand Prix. He has won the race a whopping nine times in the history of the race. Hamilton is far ahead of any other driver in the race. His only competition is Fernando Alonso. Alonso is the only driver in the 2025 F1 grid after Hamilton to win the race more than once. Lewis also holds a streak of 11 consecutive podiums finishes in the British GP. Lewis Hamilton’s latest victory in the race came during the 2024 season.

Giuseppe Farina was the very first winner of the British GP race. He won the inaugural Formula 1 British Grand Prix in 1950. Alberto Ascari became the first driver to win the race more than once by winning the race in 1952 and 1953 consecutively.
