MMA Journalist John Morgan Believes Pereira vs. Aspinall should be the Next Fight at Heavyweight

MMA writer, radio host, and television commentator believes that Tom Aspinall’s next fight should be against Alex Pereira. “No disrespect to Magomed Ankalaev, but is anybody really clamoring for that fight… If you’re looking to kick this thing off right and you’re looking to start the reign of Tom Aspinall… I think that’s the biggest fight right now.”

While Poatan is one of the biggest superstars in the UFC currently, he did lose recently to Magomed Ankalaev, who is the currently light heavyweight champion. This means a potential fight between Pereira vs. Aspinall may not be as close as a Jon Jones vs Aspinall, as the former light heavyweight champ, has not competed in the heavyweight division yet. However, what we can bank on is Poatan’s global icon status which will certainly bring in the viewers that the fight needs.
