Formula 1 qualifying came to an exciting end at Red Bull Ring yesterday. The driver lineup and starting grid for today’s race is ready. Formula 1 will host the Austrian Grand Prix from 3:00 PM track time, at the Red Bull Ring today. The Austrian GP will cover 71 laps of racing action. While the teams and drivers get ready for their next race, F1 has announced a contract extension for the Austrian GP in the Formula 1 calendar.

The race be a hard battle right from the start, although McLarens are much faster than the competition this weekend. The Austrian GP is also the final race with the danger of race ban for Max Verstappen. The Dutchman will lose two penalty points after this weekend. He was incredibly frustrated the entire month due to media’s constant nagging about his penalty and supposed race ban.

What to Expect in Today’s Race?

Austrian GP may end up being boring between the podium contenders today. The two McLarens have clear advantage over the rest of the grid. Ferrari are starting on the first and second row but they were off the pace by a huge margin during qualifying. It is Lando Norris who has the best odds for winning the race in Austria today.

Max Verstappen may end up facing a rather disappointing weekend in Austria. He is far away from pole and won’t be able to compete with the Papaya boys on equal footing.
