Just one month later, a YouTube channel also released a video titled, “Angel Reese’s MELTDOWN After Receiving LIFETIME SUSPENSION from WNBA – She Needs Support!”
Few media houses fueled all the stories of her suspension from the WNBA. However, such claims are speculation and there are no official reports from the WNBA regarding Angel Reese.
There were stories going around the social media that the WNBA barred Angel Reese with a lifetime suspension. These stories were swirling on the several social media platforms and all are false. She was never caught using steroids by the league, nor has she been suspended.
Angel Reese, who is making about $70,000 in salary on her rookie contract, sustained a left wrist injury on Sep. 7 against the LA Sparks. Medical team advised the rookie player to undergo surgery to take precaution for arthritis. The 7th pick overall in 2024 draft decided to follow the recovery process and the Chicago Sky shut her down for the remainder of the season.
Reese recently hosted rapper GloRilla in her podcast show, ‘Unapologetically Angel.’ During the season, she also attended NFL games and music concerts multiple times. Reese will silence all the claims in pre-season if she gets recover on time. She has started preparation through the Unrivaled League.
Angel Reese is currently having a tussle with the WNBA and she has already issued a threat to the league on CBA which is coming up in 2025 season. The center has diverse opinion on WNBA’s Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and she believes that a strike could be coming.
“Yeah, the CBA is coming up,” Reese said on her podcast. “We deserve more. Everybody, everybody. But we have to face the consequences? The women coming in next year are probably gonna be making more than us. I gotta get in the meetings. Because I’m hearing… If y’all don’t give us what we want, we sitting out.”

Reese also reposted a message from a fan: “The hate toward Angel Reese is so bizarre. She’s simply advocating for equal opportunities for women in the WNBA, yet she’s facing backlash for it.”
