England have won every previous meeting between the two sides, including World Cup qualifiers in 2010 and 2022.
England continue their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with a trip to face group minnows Andorra. England will aim to extend their 100% record under manager Thomas Tuchel. The German was appointed earlier this year and he has brought fresh energy to the national side.
With two wins from his first two matches, Tuchel has shown early signs of building a team capable of going deep in international tournaments. Now, he sets his sights on a third successive win, and another opportunity to fine-tune his squad in competitive conditions.
On the other hand, Andorra enter this fixture as massive underdogs. They have lost both their qualifiers so far and have managed just one win in their last 25 international outings, a 2-0 friendly victory over San Marino back in October 2023. Scoring has been a persistent issue, with Andorra drawing blanks in 12 of their last 15 games.
Despite their struggles, Andorra will view this clash as a chance to measure themselves against elite opposition. The head-to-head record does little to inspire hope for Andorra. England have won every previous meeting between the two sides, including World Cup qualifiers in 2010 and 2022. With commanding wins in their last three games, the Three Lions are expected to notch another comfortable result here.

Andorra are expected to have a full squad available for this World Cup qualifier clash with England. Captain Marc Vales remains a key figure in midfield and he will once again lead the side.
Alvarez; Borra, San Nicolas, Llovera, Olivera, M. Garcia; Rodrigo, Vales, Babot, Cervos; Fernandez
Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah could be in line for his senior England debut after receiving his first call-up to the national team. Skipper Harry Kane is expected to start and earn his 106th cap, which would place him joint-seventh on England’s all-time men’s appearances list alongside legends Sir Bobby Charlton and Frank Lampard.
Cole Palmer, who withdrew from the last international camp, is back in contention and could see his first minutes under Tuchel. Myles Lewis-Skelly is expected to retain his spot at left-back, while Ezri Konsa, Declan Rice, and Jude Bellingham are likely to feature again in the starting lineup as Tuchel continues to shape his preferred XI ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Pickford; Alexander-Arnold, Konsa, Colwill, Lewis-Skelly; Rice, Bellingham; Saka, Palmer, Gordon; Kane
