Al Hilal have reportedly issued a final take-it-or-leave-it offer to Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes. They’ve given the Portuguese playmaker just 72 hours to decide on a switch to Saudi Arabia. The Riyadh-based club Al-Hilal have offered an absurd amount to the Portuguese midfielder.

Al-Hilal have put forward an eye-watering three-year package for Fernandes. As per reports, the offer is worth up to £200 million, including bonuses. Reportedly, the deal equates to a tax-free salary of £700,000 per week, or roughly £65 million per season.

Reportedly, talks have been going on between Fernandes’ representatives and Al Hilal for weeks. However, it seems that this latest offer is now the final one. The Saudi giants are ready to submit a £100 million bid to United if Fernandes decides to accept. Al Hilal were previously linked with another Premier League start Mohamed Salah as well.

They’ve also shown interest in Cristiano Ronaldo, who’s set to be a free agent this summer and Victor Osimhen. They are eager to land a marquee signing before the FIFA Club World Cup kicks off in June. Fernandes is their top priority. However, they’re also targeting Atalanta’s Ederson and Youri Tielemans as fallback options if a deal collapses.

United Under Pressure, Fernandes Open to Exit

The Red Devils’ financial situation has become increasingly strained after their Europa League final loss to Tottenham Hotspur. The defeat not only ended their European hopes but also cost the club around £100 million in potential Champions League revenue.

The club captain Fernandes, one of their best players in this tough times was recently crowned the club’s Player of the Year. He hinted at a possible exit post-final, saying, “If the club thinks it’s time to part ways because they want to do some cashing in, it is what it is.”

The clock is ticking for Fernandes who has a huge decision to make at this point. Al Hilal want a decision by Thursday, after which they will turn their attention elsewhere. Man United need funds and Al Hilal’s offer provides them with more than enough money. However, Fernandes is certainly an asset they wouldn’t want to lose.
