Logan Paul announces his retirement to spend more time with his family

Logan Paul shook his fans when he said, “I am retired,” in a podcast of “Impaulsive.” When asked about making an appearance at WrestleMania 41, Paul responded, “Come on, I’m retired. I’m a dad, bro.” This might be a brass knuckle he hid inside his pocket to punch his way back into WWE.

The Maverick has been featured in WWE mega-events. The former United States Champion lost his title to The Megastar” LA Knight,” ending his 273-day reign. His retirement announcement doesn’t seem convincing at all after his United States Championship loss. At best, he might be taking time off after his first child’s birth.

Will we see Logan Paul anytime soon in WWE?

Logan Paul’s retirement announcement can just be to create a buzz around before his return to the WWE. With WWE going to Netflix, this might be the perfect stage for his return. We are just a couple of months away from the Royal Rumble, where Logan Paul can make a surprise entrance.

He has shown his desire to face John Cena and how he loves to be in his wrestling attire. Cena has announced that he will make his WWE return on January 6, 2025, when WWE RAW goes live on Netflix. A match between Logan Paul and John Cena could be a perfect kickstart for the event.

‘Iron’ Mike Tyson after his loss to Jake Paul in a controversial match, denied any rematch possibility with Jake Paul. He instead threw an open challenge to Logan Paul and Logan Paul vowed to kill him as a heated threat. Had Logan not been surrounded with controversies, WWE must have taken to opportunity to announce their match.

He wants to spend more time with his family, which is why we have not seen much of him post-WrestleMania. Nina Agdal, Paul Logan’s fiancé gave birth to a baby girl, which might be a factor for his absence.

There is no denying that Logan possesses some great in-ring skills. WWE might not have an interest in bringing him back right now amidst controversies surrounding him. He is still under WWE contract and WWE is still to make any official statement about his retirement.
