WWE SummerSlam: The Alliance of Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss Defeats Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez, New WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Reign Starts

We now have the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.

The allies of convenience, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, finally pulled off a massive feat when they defeated Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. They ended the 104-day title reign for the Judgment Day to become the New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Charlotte Flair might finally agree that they are more than tag team partners, as she has been shying from using the F-Word.

Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez pulled off every move from their armory to put their opponents down, but it wasn’t enough. At one point, Alexa Bliss accidentally hit Charlotte Flair, and the match would have ended then and there, but Alexa Bliss showed great in-ring awareness to break the pin. Alexa Bliss hit Roxanne Perez for an Abigail DDT and pinned her to win the match, while Charlotte Flair hit Raquel Rodriguez to floor her.

From In-Ring Enemies To Allies of Convenience, Will Charlotte Flair Finally Use the F-Word

While Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair have shown great chemistry in and out of the ring recently, the relationship was not always the same. They have been each other’s historical enemies, but those were things of the past. Alexa Bliss initially forced Charlotte to be her friend and tag team partner, but then both decided that it wasn’t the right time to call each other friends.

Now that they have become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Charlotte might finally use the F-Word. They have been helping each other during their matches already. Alexa Bliss made sure Charlotte Flair defeated Raquel Rodriguez in a singles match by being present by the side of the ring. Charlotte Flair also returned the favor, and while Alexa Bliss lost the match, it was due to her concern for Charlotte Flair.

Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss created history on WWE tonight, as their alliance finally proved to be fruitful. They were unable to pin Judgment Day at Evolution, but failing twice would be an anomaly for both Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
