WWE SNME: Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton at Saturday Night Main Event, Match Result

Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton have been long-time rivals, with their first match dating back to 2011. They have featured in brutal matches steel cage and ambulance matches, and Drew McIntyre has had a firm hold over the result. Drew McIntyre was out of WWE after his match against Damian Priest. He returned to WWE after Night of Champions and thought it would be a good idea to mock an already agonized Randy Orton.

It wasn’t as Drew McIntyre met with the three most brutal words in sports entertainment history, RKO. Drew McIntyre went to Nick Aldis and asked for a match against Randy Orton, which was granted to him at WWE SNME. Jelly Roll was performing inside the ring when Logan Paul started insulting him last night, and when Randy Orton confronted Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre ambushed him with a Claymore, further escalating things before their match.

Randy Orton Defeats Drew McIntyre, Jelly Roll Receives a Claymore

Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre faced each other in the first match at WWE SNME, and the former defeated Drew McIntyre. The match began in the ring but quickly moved outside. Drew McIntyre gained initial momentum when he delivered two German Back Suplexes to Randy Orton over the announce table. He started delivering a few chops with verbal assault that fired Randy Orton up.

Randy Orton delivered two Clotheslines to Drew McIntyre and a Powerslam. He then took Drew McIntyre outside and delivered three German Back Suplexes to him over the announce table. Randy Orton was prepared to deliver an RKO, but Logan Paul distracted him, allowing Drew McIntyre to hit Randy Orton with a Claymore. Drew McIntyre covered Randy Orton, but for a two-count only.

Jelly Roll and Logan Paul had an altercation outside the ring, and the latter pushed Jelly Roll twice, and he retaliated. This distracted Drew McIntyre and allowed Randy Orton to deliver an RKO to him and win the match.

Logan Paul then ambushed Randy Orton, and Jelly Roll came to the aid of his friend and punched him, but later received a Claymore from Drew McIntyre. The officials intervened before any further damage could be caused.
