Wimbledon 2025 Order of Play Day 3 – Important Matches To Watch Out For

Let’s go through the order of play on Day 3 of the 2025 Wimbledon championship.

The 2025 Wimbledon championship started with a series of upsets and the tournament is giving a nightmare to top seed players. We have seen more than 10 big upsets in first round only. In women’s singles, No. 2 and No. 3 faced elimination. Both American stars, Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula were knocked on Day 2 of the championship. In men’s singles, Lorenzo Musetti and Alexander Bublik lost their opening round matchups. 23 seeds got out in the first round itself. Wimbledon never ceases to amaze.

Now, the 2025 championship move to Day 3 where second-round in both men’ and women’s singles start. Defending champions, Carlos Alcaraz will be in action along with women’s singles No. 1, Aryna Sabalenka, who will eye a Wimbledon glory after Gauff and Pegula’s elimination. Some top players in men’s singles, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, and Andrey Rublev will take part in the second part.

Order of Play at Centre Court for Day 3

Centre court is known for producing thrilling and memorable matches. The 5-time Grand Slam champion, Carlos Alacaraz will arrive for the second round matchup against Oliver Tarvet. World No. 1, Aryna Sabalenka will take on Marie Bouzkova and the British No. 1, Emma Raducanu will face Marketa Vondrousova in second round matchup.
