This potential matchup would present fascinating stylistic questions that have fight fans already debating hypothetical scenarios. Chimaev has already proven that weight jumps don’t bother him much. He has moved seamlessly from welterweight to middleweight without missing a beat. However, the jump from 185 to 205 pounds represents a significant physical challenge that could test even someone as naturally gifted as the undefeated champion.
