WWE SmackDown: Sami Zayn Pick Up a WIn in His Hometown, Montreal, Defeats Solo Sikoa on Friday Night SmackDown

Sami Zayn defeated Solo Sikoa in a non-title match on Friday Night SmackDown. He overcomes the interruption of JC Mateo, Tonga Loa, and Tala Tonga. Sami Zayn delivered two Exploders to Solo Sikoa, but every time he tried to set up for Helluva Kick, there was an interruption from MFT.

Solo Sikoa went for Samoan Spike, but Sami Zayn countered it and rolled the former over to pin him. Sami Zayn had a huge reception in his hometown, and the crowd was behind him the moment he stepped inside the ring. Sami Zayn also returned the favor with an intense performance against Solo Sikoa and his MFTs.

Sami Zayn Leaves Solo Sikoa and His MFTs Shocked, Old Rivalry Resumes?

The match between Sami Zayn and Solo Sikoa swung like a pendulum between them. Sami Zayn initially made sure Solo’s MFT didn’t create a major interruption, but odds were stacked against him as it was four on one. Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn are not unknown to each other. They were part of the original Bloodline for Roman Reigns.

Solo Sikoa became the self-claimed tribal chief when Roman Reigns lost to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. Solo Sikoa and his bloodline went after Jimmy Uso and Sami Zayn. Nick Aldis announced the match between Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn on the spot.
