Zelina Vega Beats Chelsea Green, Retains the WWE Women’s United States Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event

Zelina Vega has been a tough pill to swallow for Chelsea Green. She has remained unbeaten against Chelsea Green for quite some time now. To rub salt on her wound, she is the one who ended her Women’s United States Championship title reign. Zelina Vega was in a Money in the Bank qualification match when she got pinned by Giulia. Chelsea Green mocked her backstage, and a brawl broke out between the two.

Piper Niven and Alba Fyre came to the aid of Chelsea Green while Michin and B-Fab helped Zelina Vega. A tag team match was decided between the team of Michin and B-Fab and Secret Hervice. Chelsea Green was trying to help the Secret Hervice win the match, but Zelina Vega attacked her and neutralized her threat. It helped Michin and B-Fab win the match. Chelsea Green, however, received a title opportunity against Zelina Vega at SNME.

Zelina Vega Kept Her US Title Reign Intact At Saturday Night’s Main Event

Zelina Vega and Chelsea Green collided again inside the ring, and the latter ended up on the losing side again even though she had Secret Hervice by the ringside. Both of them performed some brutal moves on each other. Chelsea Green delivered a Powerbomb to Zelina Vega outside the ring. Zelina Vega gained momentum with two Clotheslines and a Back Suplex.

Chelsea Green tried an Unprettier on Zelina Vega, but she countered it with a Backstabber and followed it up with a 619. Zelina Vega climbed the third rope and set up for a move when Alba Fyer tried to enter the ring, and the referee got distracted while stopping her. Piper Niven took the opportunity to push Zelina Vega into losing her balance.

Chelsea Green tried to take advantage, but Zelina delivered a Headbutt and followed it up with a Code Red from the third rope. Zelina Vega covered her for a three-count to win the match and retain her title. Chelsea Green was busted open and left bleeding through her nose after the match.
