Brighton & Hove Albion vs Liverpool Premier League – Injury News, Match Preview and Predicted Line-Ups

Abhinav Goel

At the Amex, Fabian Hurzeler’s men have been hard to beat, losing just once in their last seven home games.

With the Premier League crown already secured, Liverpool will look to restore some momentum in their final away game of the season when they face Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Monday night. However, Arne Slot’s side risk ending the campaign on a muted note after a dip in form since clinching the title.

The Reds were held to a 3-3 draw by Arsenal in their last outing, a result that followed a defeat to Chelsea. Now aiming to avoid going three league matches without a win for the first time this season, Liverpool will be keen to rediscover their edge here. All eyes will also be on Mohamed Salah, who could break the Premier League record for most away goals in a single season. However, the Egyptian has struggled for form of late, failing to score or assist in five of his last seven appearances.

Meanwhile, Brighton will be in high spirits. After defeating Wolves 2-0 away in their previous game, the Seagulls will still hold faint hopes of a late push into the European spots. At the Amex, Fabian Hurzeler’s men have been hard to beat, losing just once in their last seven home games. With the pressure off both sides, the match could open up and deliver goals.

Brighton & Hove Albion Injury News

Brighton head coach Fabian Hurzeler will be boosted by the return of several key players ahead of Monday’s home fixture. The Seagulls welcome back Joao Pedro from suspension, while both Lewis Dunk and Joel Veltman have been declared fit after overcoming recent injury concerns.

Liverpool Injury News

Defender Joe Gomez is still sidelined as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury, while midfielder Tyler Morton remains sidelined with a shoulder problem. Portugese striker Diogo Jota is pushing for a recall to the starting XI while Alexis Mac Allister is also expected to feature against his former club. Both players could be key in revitalizing a Liverpool side that has shown signs of fatigue since securing the title.
