What Draft Picks Do the Jacksonville Jaguars Have in 2025? All Jacksonville Jaguars 2025 NFL Draft Picks per Round

Devavrat Kulkarni

The Jaguars have a lot of draft capital to work with

The Jacksonville Jaguars struggled mightily in the 2024 season. After looking like a team capable of making continued runs to the postseason in the 2022 season, the Jaguars have slipped to one of the bottom-most teams in the league. With just 4 wins last season, Jacksonville is in dire need of upgrades all over the field.

What should have been a step forward ended up being multiple steps in the other direction in 2024. On offense, the running game lacked any punch and the team finished 26th overall with an average of just 101 rushing yards per game. Moreover, the offensive line’s inability to protect Trevor Lawrence directly resulted in shaking his confidence and the Jaguars were also unable to come up with consistent plays to move the chains.

While the offense was terrible, the defense was no better. The defense allowed several big plays and was limited in the number of turnovers it could produce. The pass defense in particular lacked the ability to stop the opposition from marching down the field. Overall, they need to get better on both sides of the ball.

What Are the Jaguars’ Draft Picks in 2025?

The Jaguars have plenty of draft capital at their disposal with a total of 10 draft picks this year. All of their draft picks are distributed more or less evenly throughout the seven rounds. Due to their record last season, Jacksonville currently has the number 5 overall pick in the first round, and they have a total of 4 picks within the top 90.

Positional Needs for the Jaguars

First and foremost, the Jaguars need to upgrade massively on their interior defensive line. This has been a problem area for the team for a few years now, and while the defensive ends look sharp, the tackles are what is letting them down. At number five overall, they should really target Mason Graham in the draft if he is still available.

Other than the defensive line, finding a solid cornerback 2 would be ideal for Jacksonville in round 2 which is also a pressing need at the moment. Other than that, the offensive side of the ball may be lacking superstar-level talent, but they still have Brian Thomas Jr. who is looking the part at WR1.

However, there are question marks surrounding the WR2 position and how good Gabe Davis or Dyami Brown can become. Thus, finding depth at receiver is also another area for the Jaguars to explore.

I am a content writer for the NFL team, and joined The Playoffs after working with Sportskeeda and NFL Analysis as an NFL writer. After starting my professional career as a French-to-English translator, working as a content writer is a new adventure for me. I started out in the sports media field for two main reasons: my love for sports in general, especially the NFL, NBA, and Tennis, as well as my passion for writing. The best part of this job is that I get to write a variety of pieces with the freedom to explore content from various angles. It also enables me to stay up to date with the sporting world, which otherwise can be difficult to do in the day-to-day grind. In a world full of chaos, sports unite and entertain like nothing else!
