WrestleMania Rumor: Will Goldberg Pay a special visit to Gunther at WWE WrestleMania 41?

Gunther to returned one last time to WWE for his retirement match.

WWE WrestleMania brings numerous surprises every year, and the 2025 WrestleMania would be laced with surprise appearances as well. Many legends, such as Undertaker and Steve Austin, have already confirmed their presence at the mega event, while the entry of others is a well-kept secret. One such legend, whose entry is speculated but not confirmed, is Goldberg.

Goldberg has been present as a guest amongst the fans but has yet to grace everyone with his final match. He played his last match in WWE against Roman Reigns at the 2022 Elimination Chamber, which he lost. Goldberg was one of the most dominant stars of the Attitude Era, holding a record 173-0 in WWE. The Era that included legends like Undertaker, Rock, and Steve Austin, to name a few.

Goldberg speculated to pay a visit to Gunther at WWE WrestleMania 41

Goldberg announced that he would retire from WWE in 2025 and announce the name of his last victim as well. Yes, you guessed it right. It was none other than Gunther who called him a one-trick pony. Gunther didn’t stop there and moved his attention toward Goldberg’s son, Gage, and poked fun at Goldberg’s fatherhood. He quoted “I really hope for you that Bill is a better father than he is a professional wrestler”.

Goldberg jumped the barricade to lay waste to Gunther, but officials stopped him. The WWE Universe has been waiting for his return ever since. With Goldberg eying a retirement match and Gunther defending his title against Jey Uso at WrestleMania, it wouldn’t be wrong to assume that Goldberg would come to show Gunther he’s next. This appearance, however, might not be for a match but to announce a future Match against Gunther

There won’t be a better occasion for Goldberg to announce his arrival in the ring at WWE WrestleMania 41 to pave the way for his retirement match. All he would need is to deliver a Spear and a Jackhammer to Gunther to announce a future match against him. It is the one thing that the crowd has been waiting to see for a long time.
