Vincent Kompany had some injury updates on Bayern Munich Squad.
Bayern Munich will host Borrusia Dortmund on Saturday in the match week 29 of the Bundesliga. Dortmund after a disappointing Champions League night could look to make life difficult for league leaders Bayern Munich as Leverkusen chases them. Having lost only one game all season at the Allianz, Dortmund will have a mountain to climb if they are to get something out of this fixture.
Borrusia Dortmund who have struggled in the Bundesliga this season are currently placed 8th on the table. Trailing by seven points to the fourth-placed RB Leipzig, Niko Kovac and his team can barely afford to put a step wrong from here on. Managing to get something positive out of all their remaining fixtures is crucial given the stages of the season.

Manager Vincent Kompany gave some injury boost news for Bayern Munich Squad. Talking about the team news in his pre-match conference, Kompany announced Aleksander Pavlovic and Kingsley Coman will join the training after returning from injuries. Addressing their recovery process, Kompany said:
“Aleksandar Pavlovic and Kingsley Coman will train today and do some tests, but I’m assuming there will be no changes to the squad to face Dortmund,” said Kompany on Friday.
Despite recoveries, Pavlovic and Kompany are not expected to make an appearance today against Borussia Dortmund. They will join the long list of injuries with Manuel Neuer (calf), Alphonso Davies (cruciate ligament), Dayot Upamecano(knee), Hiroki Ito (metatarsal) and Jamal Musiala(hamstring) in a watching brief.
Bayern Munich Predicted XI: Kobel, Ryerson, Can, Anton, Bensebaini, Groß, Chukwuemeka, Adeyemi, Brandt, Beier, Guirassy.
Borussia Dortmund will come into the clash with what could be called a healthy bench. Center-back Nico Schlotterbeck and midfielder Marcel Sabitzer are the only significant absentees due to injuries.
Addressing the significance of the game, manager Kovac said the clash between the two BVB versus FCB is always a highlight. Talking about how big a stage it is, the Croatian said:
“It’s an evening game, it will be broadcast in more than 200 countries. That shows how much impact this fixture has”
Coming from the Champions League defeat to Barcelona, Kovac insisted on focusing forward after a bad at the office as he continued:
“We have to try to differentiate: we need to put the Champions League to one side and put the focus on the two Bundesliga games against Mainz and Freiburg because it’s a match against a title contender”
Kovac will have a counter-attacking approach given the strong possession game Bayern Munich holds. Sticking to their wide attacking tactics, Dortmund will look to damage Bayern on transitions.
Borrusia Dortmund Predicted XI: Urbig, Laimer, Dier, Kim, Stanišić, Kimmich, Palhinha, Olise, Guerreiro, Gnabry, Kane
