Barcelona will aim to carry their Champions League momentum into La Liga when they travel to Leganes on Saturday evening. A win would see the Catalan giants move seven points clear of Real Madrid. Barcelona thrashed Borussia Dortmund 4-0 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash. The Spanish giants were in complete control from start to finish, with their clinical finishing leaving the German side with little hope.

While Barca continue their pursuit of a potential treble this season, Leganes are fighting for survival. Borja Jimenez’s side currently sit 18th, two points adrift of safety. Leganes head into this clash following a 1-1 draw with Osasuna, which brought an end to their three-match losing streak. Leganes Injury News

Leganes will remain without Enric Franquesa and Borna Barisic, who are still recovering from long-term injuries and won’t be available for selection this weekend. However, they’ll be boosted by the return of Oscar Rodriguez, who is back in the squad after serving a suspension.

Manager Borja Jimenez is expected to stick with a similar starting lineup to the one that earned a 1-1 draw against Osasuna last weekend, as the team looks to build on that positive result.
