Liverpool Team News

Arne Slot and Liverpool might expect some big players to return for their clash against Everton. Talking about the rerun to the training of Ryan Gravenbech and Allison Becker, the Dutch manager said:

“Ryan is OK although we have to train one more time, but he is OK. Ali trained with us as well. The last check has to be made, I think that’s this afternoon after the session, [to determine] if he is available to play.”

Trent Alexander-Arnold who picked up an injury in their Champions League clash will miss the clash against Everton. Moreover, Joe Gomez will also remain sidelined.

With some players coming back, Slot might switch things around to get them some minutes. Although Liverpool has stuck to three up front this season, Gravenberch could make an appearance. Moreover, with Alexander-Arnold out, Jarrel Quansah should continue to work from the right side.

“He’s got a bit of an injury, but he’s back. He came in and did a bit of training yesterday, so we’re hopeful he’ll be okay. But we’ll have to wait to see tomorrow to see how he is.”

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will continue to be sidelined as his return date is unknown. Talking about his recovery, Moyes added:

“I’ve not got a date for Dom yet. He’s back and he’s on the grass, so there are good signs he’s getting closer to it.”

With not much changing in the team news, Moyes is expected to stick to their standard lineup. Being on a six-game unbeaten streak, major changes are less likely for Everton against Liverpool.
