Fight fans were in for a treat last night at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. The rematch between Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze headlined an action-packed card that delivered non-stop excitement. Nearly two years after their first encounter, these middleweights stepped into the octagon once again to settle the score.

In the main event, Roman Dolidze got his revenge against Marvin Vettori with a unanimous decision victory. All three judges scored it 49-46 in favor of the Georgian fighter. The five-round battle was competitive throughout, with both men having their moments.

Vettori showed little ring rust with his 21-month layoff, and Dolidze turned up the heat in the championship rounds. The victory marks Dolidze’s third straight win, firmly establishing him as a contender in the middleweight division.

The co-main event saw Chidi Njokuani continue his impressive run at welterweight. After a competitive first round against veteran Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos, Njokuani found his rhythm in the second. When dos Santos tried to close the distance, Njokuani landed a perfectly timed knee that sent the Brazilian crashing to the canvas.

He followed up with punches to secure the TKO victory at 2:19 of round two. Since dropping down from middleweight, Njokuani has gone a perfect 3-0, showing he’s found his proper weight class.

The main card delivered a perfect mix of striking battles and submission finishes. Alexander Hernandez and Kurt Holobaugh put on a lightweight thriller that went the distance, with Hernandez earning the unanimous decision.

Before that, fans witnessed back-to-back kimura submissions as Da’Mon Blackshear tapped out Cody Gibson and Brendson Ribeiro finished Diyar Nurgozhay. Argentine prospect Kevin Vallejos made a statement in his UFC debut. He stopped SeungWoo Choi with a devastating overhand right in 03:09 of the first round.

The preliminary card was equally exciting with five of seven bouts ending inside the distance. Waldo Cortes-Acosta scored a second-round TKO over Ryan Spann. Andre Lima pulled off a third-round submission against Daniel Barez, and the women’s bouts delivered two of the night’s most spectacular finishes. Priscila Cachoeira knocked out Josiane Nunes with a right hand, and Carli Judice needed only 100 seconds to finish Yuneisy Duben with a head kick. Sam Hughes got the nod after three rounds against Stephanie Luciano.
