Former Lakers star Metta Sandiford-Artest makes a big prediction on Bronny.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James is always in the headlines due to his father, LeBron James. The 20-year-old usually gets criticism from TV analysts and former NBA stars, but this time, the rookie guard gets appreciation from the former NBA champion.

This year has been a progression for Bronny James, who has spent major time in the G League. He is not playing regularly with the Lakers, but JJ Redick is sowing faith in him. Former Lakers star Metta Sandiford-Artest makes a big prediction on Bronny.

Sandiford-Artest posted on social media that he believes Bronny James will become an All-Star. He backs the rookie guard to chase the highs in the NBA in future. This is a huge compliment from the former Lakers champion.

Will Bronny James become an All-Star?

Bronny James is putting impressive numbers in the G League. However, he failed to replicate the same in the NBA. The 20-year-old has averaged 17.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.

The NBA numbers are different and don’t match with the G League. He is averaging 1.4 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per game in the regular season. James needs to bring his best version to become an All-Star in the NBA and prove his critics wrong.

Los Angeles Lakers believe Bronny could be a big player in the future, and the guidance of his father, LeBron James, will be key. The veteran star faced backlash on social media for favoring his son and blamed him for starting nepotism in the league. Still, LeBron backs his son to improve his game and Bronny’s stint with South Bay will play a big role.

Bronny recently played for the South Bay Lakers in the loss against the Lake City Stars and looked better with his offensive skills. He finished with 16 points, six rebounds, eight assists and one steal while shooting 6/19 from the field and 4/14 from the three-point range.

The Lakers also recalled him for the Clippers game on Sunday, but the young guard wasn’t given a chance to play. Lakers management backs him and Bronny might be the regular player in JJ Redick’s roaster in 2025/26 season. Meanwhile, the journey to become an All-Star would be a tough one and LeBron’s son has potential to achieve this.
