Bronny James was in action for the South Bay Lakers in the G League on Friday night, and his team suffered a 123-114 defeat against the Salt Lake City Stars. Bronny played against his father’s former teammate, Isaiah Thomas, who was the top scorer in the game.

The Lakers rookie entered the fixture with a clinical performance against the Valley Suns. Bronny James scored 24 points, five rebounds, and six assists on 10 of 16 shots in the last game. Meanwhile, the 55th pick had a slow start against the Salt Lake City Stars.

Bronny James has appeared in 17 games for the Lakers this season and tallied just 23 points due to minutes restrictions. The 20-year-old is shooting 7/28 from the field and 3/13 from three-point range in the rookie season.
