On Wednesday, Feb. 12, the Utah Jazz avenged their past defeat just three days after a 132-113 blowout loss to the Lakers. The Jazz took down the fifth-seeded side in the Western Conference 131-119 to record their 13th win of the season.

The game saw Lauri Markkanen leading the scoresheet with 32 points and five rebounds, while Jordan Clarkson scoring 21 points. Keyonte George finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists to put an end to the Lakers’ six-game winning streak.

Rui Hachimura led the Lakers with 19 points, three rebounds and one assist, while LeBron James scored 18 points. Luka Doncic, who was playing his second game in the purple and yellow jersey, finished with 16 points.

Apart from them, the Lakers’ rookie and LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, made his return to the side after missing two clashes. Bronny suffered a left forearm muscle strain after he appeared for the South Bay Lakers’ 122-104 clash win against the Valley Suns on Feb.8 . In the game, he finished with 28 points, six rebounds and two assists.

While the former USC Trojans guard was earlier listed questionable, Lakers coach JJ Redick had revealed James would make his comeback during the Wednesday night game. Needless to say, the 20-year-old made most of it and finished with a career-high performance.

Bronny stepped up on to the court with 7:44 left on the clock, when his side was trailing 116-96. He finished with nine points and one assist after hitting a three-pointer in the final seconds of the game.

James Jr. is averaging at 1.4 points, 0.4 rebound, 0.5 assist, and 0.2 steal per game this season with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers will now clash against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, Feb 19.
