The Team Knicks consists of Brunson, Towns and the current VP of Player Leadership and Development at the franchise, Allan Houston. Both Brunson and Towns have been putting elite mid-range shots this season. While the former is averaging 37.4% from the deep, the latter is converting 35.1% of his shots. These stats combined with Houston’s experience makes them favorites at +190 to win.
Jalen Johnson, Knueppel and Magette- all Duke Alums have proven themselves to be efficient shooters. While Knueppel is averaging 43.1% from the deep, Johnson shoots 35.3% from the three-point range. Apart from them, Magette retired with a career average of 32.4% from the deep. Their college chemistry and elite shooting makes them a highly favorite to dominate the charts.
Scottie Barnes paired with Chet Holmgren from the Oklahoma City Thunder and Richard Hamilton, a three-time NBA All-Star. Barnes is converting 30.1% of his three-point shots while Holmgren drops 35.7% of his three-pointers. Their shooting combined with Hamilton’s mid-range mastery offer veteran poise, making team All-Stars promising to win.
A five-time NBA champion, Ron Harper Sr. will come together with his sons- Ron Harper Jr of the Celtics and Dylan Harper of the Spurs for the elite shooting contest. Dylan Harper is a promising guard who is shooting 25.2% from the field, while his brother drops 23.1% from behind the arc. On the other hand, their father, Ron Harper Sr. has a career average of 28.9 from the deep.
With odds at +190, Team Knicks emerge as clear favorite signifying Brunson and Towns’ elite and proven shooting. Team Cameron is the second favorite, owing to Knueppel’s hot rookie campaign. However, Team All-Stars and Team Harper are longshots with +290 and +330 odds, respectively.
