After two months sidelined due to a left hamstring injury, forward Zion Williamson has a chance to return to action in the coming days, according to New Orleans Pelicans head coach Willie Green.
Williamson participated in a full practice on Monday (6th), including 5-on-5 drills, signaling a possible reintegration into the team this week.

The player, who hasn’t played since November 6th, is averaging 22.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in 31 minutes per game this season.
Dealing with injuries has been a constant for Zion. A meniscus injury limited him to 24 games in the 2019-20 season. In 2021-22, he missed the entire season due to a Jones fracture in his right foot. In 2022-23, a right hamstring strain restricted Williamson to just 29 games.

Zion’s potential return is welcome news for the Pelicans, who have been battling a series of injuries throughout their roster, including absences from key players like Brandon Ingram, Trey Murphy, CJ McCollum, Dejounte Murray, Jose Alvarado, and Jordan Hawkins.
The next opportunity for the forward to return to the court will be during a home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.
