Drew McIntyre Gets Him Into Trouble Again

Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes were confronting each other after the events of Night of Champions. We saw a contrasting role reversal at the Night of Champions, where Cody Rhodes exploited Randy Orton’s bad back, but the latter hesitated while delivering a Punt Kick. The hesitation cost Randy Orton the match, and he confronted Cody Rhodes about it. He asked him to promise that he would beat John Cena at SummerSlam.

Drew McIntyre interrupted Randy Orton and reminded him that Cody Rhodes went after his bad back the moment he got the chance. He asserted that Cody had Randy beaten long before their match with his false respect, which caused Randy Orton to hesitate while executing the Punt Kick. He asked Randy what happened to the Legend Killer, who wouldn’t think before delivering Punt Kicks to legends and Hall of Famers.

While interrupting Randy Orton was his first offense, he committed a second when he stated that the Legend Killer was dead. Randy Orton, who was already frustrated with his loss, delivered a vicious RKO to Drew McIntyre before leaving the ring. Drew McIntyre asked for a match against Randy Orton, which Nick Aldis confirmed would take place at WWE SNME.
