Sami Zayn announced his entry to SmackDown with a victory over Solo Sikoa and his MFTs. He got the much-needed help from his tag team partners, Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu. Sami Zayn was on his way to beat Rusev and get his opportunity for the World Heavyweight Championship when Solo Sikoa and his MFTs attacked him and forced a disqualification.

Solo Sikoa was addressing the crowd when Sami Zayn entered the ring and announced that he had been added to the SmackDown roster. He also announced his contendership for the WWE United States Championship and stated he is coming for Solo Sikoa. MFTs attacked Sami Zayn and Jimmy Uso, and Jacob Fatu came to his aid. Nick Aldis announced a six-man tag team match as the main event of SmackDown.

Sami Zayn Pins Solo Sikoa Once Again, This Time in a Tag Team Match

Solo Sikoa, Tonga Loa, and JC Mateo fought tonight in a six-man tag team match against the team of Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso. Sami Zayn and Jacob Fatu didn’t gel well initially, but showed great compatibility inside the ring. Solo Sikoa tried bringing the numbers game into play, but Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso nullified the outside intervention.

Both team had their moment, but the defining moment came when Jacob Fatu sent Tala Tonga over the announcer’s table with a suicide dive. This gave an opening to Sami Zayn, who delivered an Exploder to Solo Sikoa and followed by a Helluva Kick. This was enough to keep SOlo down for three counts. Sami Zayn pinned Solo Sikoa for the second time in consecutive weeks of SmackDown.

SmackDown closed with Sami Zayn and Jacob Fatu hugging it out, and the former mimicking Fatu.
