LA Knight regains his United States Championship after defeating Shinsuke Nakamura on Friday Night SmackDown

LA Knight has been one of the most dominant superstars of WWE in recent times. LA Knight became the United States Champion for the first time at 2024 SummerSlam, defeating Logan Paul. He successfully defended his title for 119 days, after which he lost the title to Shinsuke Nakamura at the 2024 Survivor Series.

LA Knight challenged Shinsuke Nakamura for a rematch, but the match ended in disqualification after an interruption from Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. He then resolved his feud with Bloodline 2.0. LA Knight defeated Santos Escobar to qualify for the triple threat for the #1 contendership for the United States Championship. He won the triple threat match against Jacob Fatu and Carmelo Hayes the same day to become the #1 contender for the US title.

LA Knight Won the United States Championship, defeating Shinsuke Nakamura

LA Knight delivered a BFT to Shinsuke Nakamura on the chair and won the match. The match between Shinsuke Nakamura and LA Knight went to near stalemate numerous times, as both opponents fought neck to neck. Shinsuke Nakamura dominated the match initially, and it seemed like he had done the homework on LA Knight. LA Knight soon caught up and gained dominance over Shinsuke Nakamura.

A frustrated Nakamura tried to hit LA Knight with a chair to get the match disqualified, but LA Knight snatched the chair. Shinsuke Nakamura and LA Knight went inside the ring, and Nakamura again tried a chair shot, but the referee snatched the chair this time. Nakamura accidently spewed mist into the eyes of the referee. He again tried a chair shot, but LA Knight kicked it and delivered a BFT to him over the chair to win the match.
