WWE SmackDown Result: Braun Strowman defeated Jacob Fatu via DQ, becomes the #1 contender for the United States Title

LA Knight to defend his title against Monster of all Monsters next week.

Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman have been part of each other’s story from the moment the latter returned to WWE. These two giants have been colliding to prove who’s more powerful. Bloodline 2.0 has cost One Big SOB numerous matches due to which they were bound to fight. The only wrestler from Bloodline 2.0 capable of matching Braun Strowman’s strength is Jacob Fatu.

Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman have brawled many times but these giants never get enough of each other. Their path crossed for the first time at the Saturday Night Main Event where Jacob Fatu lost the match due to disqualification but brutalized Braun Strowman in the process. They have met many a time since then but the scores are yet to be settled. They were scheduled to face each other yesterday for the #1 contendership of the US title.

Braun Strowman won via disqualification, Civil War inside Bloodline 2.0

Braun Strowman defeated Jacob Fatu via disqualification once again due to the interruption from Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. He will now face LA Knight next week for the United States Championship. Braun Strowman has never won the United States Championship and he will become the grand slam champion if he defeats LA Knight and win the US title.

The match between Jacob Fatu and Braun Strowman swung like a pendulum from one end to another. Braun Strowman and Jacob Fatu both had their chances to dominate the match and brutalize the other. Monster Amongst Men was able to gain momentum during the closing moments of the match He might have won the match but the Bloodline 2.0 interfered. Solo Sikoa delivered a Samoan Spike which caused the referee to disqualify Jacob Fatu.

Jacob Fatu was visibly infuriated but joined Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga to attack Braun Strowman. LA Knight came to the aid of Braun Strowman and they both were able to drive them away. Jacob Fatu was seen shouting and cussing Solo Sikoa for costing him the US title opportunity. Will this create a rift in Bloodline 2.0? Let’s wait and see…
