WWE SmackDown: R-Truth vs. Aleister Black, Aleister Black Attacks Damian Priest Backstage on Friday Night SmackDown

Ashish Negi

Aleister Black and Damian Priest on the collision course to one another.

R-Truth has been a fan favorite, and his exit from WWE raised quite a few eyebrows. WWE brought him back, not as R-Truth but Ron Killings, in a week, and whether it was all a planned move or a forced one, WWE fans loved it. He, however, has been a bit aggressive ever since his return. He interrupted Aleister Black and assaulted wrestlers before their match. Damian Priest asked him not to do that.

While R-Truth didn’t assault anyone after Damian Priest asked him not to, Aleister Black delivered a Black Mass to him inside the ring. Damian Priest confronted Aleister Black backstage and informed him that the latter would face Ron Killings inside the squared ring on SmackDown. Aleister Black has yet to be pinned on WWE SmackDown in a singles match ever since his return.

Ron Killing Defeats Aleister Black, Alters History

Ron Killings did what no one could in recent times, and that was to pin Aleister Black. Aleister Black was neither submitted nor pinned ever since he returned to WWE, but R-Truth changed that tonight when he held Aleister Black in an O’Çonner roll and pinned him to win the match. R-Truth’s victory was long overdue, marking Aleister Black’s first defeat since his return to SmackDown.

This match was a short match where both of these superstars landed very few punches on one another. R-Truth received a brutal knee to his midsection and was sent out of the ring. Aleister Black followed him, but R-Truth pushed him into the ring post. He then brought a steel chair inside the ring, but Aleister Black delivered another brutal knee, this time to his face.

Aleister Black then tried to use the steel chair while the referee warned him that he would disqualify him if he did that. The referee snatched the chair, and R-Truth took advantage of the distraction to put Aleister Black into an O’Connor Roll to pin him and win the match. An angry Aleister Black followed Ron Killings backstage but was stopped by Damian Priest, who asked him to calm down because it’s over.

Aleister Black first shook hands with Damian Priest and then attacked him from behind first with a Knee to his face and then a Black Mass, igniting a future rivalry between both.
