WWE concluded yet another massive weekend, which started with Friday Night SmackDown and was followed by The Great American Bash, Saturday Night Main Event, and Evolution. WWE SNME marked the end of an era with Goldberg losing his retirement match against Gunther. The other big news was Seth Rollins losing the match against LA Knight, a forced change in result made due to an injury he suffered during the match.

WWE Evolution also delivered a shocker when both Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky lost the match between them. Yeah, that’s right. The singles match between Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley turned into a triple threat when Naomi cashed in her MITB. Naomi made sure to enter the match when both opponents had lost all of their strength. She pinned Iyo Sky to become the new WWE Women’s World Champion.

Paul Levesque Announced Five-Man Gauntlet Match for Raw Tonight

Paul Levesque announced a Five Men Gauntlet Match between CM Punk, Jey Uso, Bron Breakker, Penta, and LA Knight for Raw on Netflix. The winner will face Gunther for the WWE Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. All five members announced for the match are among the best, if not the best, superstars of WWE. CM Punk doesn’t need an introduction, and he recently suffered a loss to John Cena, which has made him more dangerous.

LA Knight defeated Seth Rollins at SNME and will bring the winning momentum with him. Jey Uso lost his title to Gunther, and he holdsa personal vendetta against him. Bron Breakker want to be the future of WWE and will have Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman at his corner. Penta has joined WWE in January and is yet to receive a title opportunity, thanks to numerous interruption from Judgment Day and Seth Rollins’ crew.

All five men have their personal motives going into the match, and while we can expect a brutal match that would test the patience of both wrestlers and wrestling fans, it would be difficult to choose one favorite. Jey Uso brings his Yeet army with him while CM Punk is the voice of the voiceless. Not to forget, LA Knight has always had a separate fan base. CM Punk is speculated to win the Gauntlet match. He might have an intense battle with Jey Uso and Bron Breakker, but his experience and durability make him stand out in the league of the best. He will go on to face Gunther at SummerSlam for the WWE Heavyweight Championship.

Who knows, CM Punk might win the WWE Heavyweight Championship he has long been yearning for, or will Seth Rollins cash in his MITB contract on CM Punk and cost him yet another title? Time will tell.
