There were moments of betrayal where Paul Heyman turned heel on both CM Punk and Roman Reigns and helped Seth Rollins win the match. Dominic Mysterio was the second to betray his brother Finn Balor.

John Cena won the record 17th WWE Championship and achieved what no one ever could in WWE. There were moments of heartbreak for Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes in WrestleMania 41. Dominic Mysterio became the WWE Intercontinental Champion while Jacob Fatu won the WWE United States Championship. Jey Uso became the WWE Heavyweight Champion.
