WWE Raw Tonight: Iyo Sky to defend her title against Rhea Ripley, Winner to defend her title against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania

Will Rhea Ripley be part of the Women's World Championship match at WrestleMania?

The WWE Women’s roster has been going through chaos ever since Rhea Ripley became the reason behind Iyo Sky’s disqualification from the Elimination Chamber Qualification match. Rhea Ripley out of her guilt gave Iyo Sky a title match to compensate for her loss on Raw after the Elimination Chamber. Iyo Sky grabbed the opportunity with both hands and defeated Rhea Ripley to become the Women’s World Champion.

Bianca Belair who won the Women’s Elimination Chamber was by the ringside to see who her Wrestlemania opponent would be. She cheered for Iyo Sky which didn’t go well with Rhea Ripley and they both had an altercation outside the ring. This little distraction allowed Iyo Sky to shift the momentum towards her and win the match.

Adam Pearce straightaway denied any possibility of a triple threat at WrestleMania and gave a title rematch to Rhea Ripley on the upcoming Raw. Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, and Bianca Belair have been brawling for weeks ever since Iyo Sky won the women’s championship. Rhea wanted to be added to the Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania.

Adam Pearce has different plans as he announced that she would face Iyo Sky on Raw for the Women’s title. Not only that, the match will have a special guest referee, Bianca Belair. The winner of this match will go into WrestleMania as the champion and will defend her title against Bianca Belair. What seems to be a step to end chaos might be the sole reason for the start of a new one as the losing woman will blame Bianca Belair for her loss.

What was the reason behind the Chaos?

Bianca Belair and Iyo Sky were inside the ring with Michael Cole for an interview. Bianca explained that she didn’t want to get involved in the match but Rhea Ripley entered and a blame game started between them. Iyo Sky tried to become the mediator between them but both pushed her back. Iyo Sky didn’t take the insult kindly and slapped Rhea and Bianca before leaving the ring.

Adam Pearce was mediating the contract signing between Bianca Belair and Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania. Both women signed the contract, and just when Adam Pearce was announcing the successful contract signing, Rhea entered the ring. She and Bianca again had an altercation, and Iyo tried to be a mediator.

Bianca pushed Iyo Sky and Rhea delivered a head butt to Bianca. She delivered a Powerbomb to Iyo Sky over EST of WWE. She then took the contract, signed it, and took it with her. Adam Pearce followed her angrily and asked for the contract. Rhea Ripley initially refused but gave him the contract asking him to add her name in the contract as well. Bianca Belair and Iyo Sky entered the scene and the three started to brawl backstage.

Bianca Belair let everyone know her issue with Rhea Ripley

Bianca Belair took to X in response to Rhea Ripley forcibly signing the contract. She stated someone needed to tell Rhea how the contract worked. She mocked her and stated someone else would want to come out next week sign the contract and make it a Fatal 4-way.

Bianca Belair has once again taken to X, directing her criticisms at Rhea Ripley. She asserted that one does not need to be a champion, win the Royal Rumble, or triumph in the Elimination Chamber to secure a championship contract for WrestleMania; all you need is to be Rhea Ripley.

WWE has now officially announced that Rhea will participate in the Women’s World Championship but not at WrestleMania. She will face Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Championship in a match that will feature Bianca Belair as the guest referee.
