Get to know all about Monday Night Raw tonight?
With five days to go, WWE has all six members for Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank. Four matches have been announced for the MITB so far: Men’s MITB Ladder Match, Women’s MITB Ladder Match, Lyra Valkyria vs. Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, and the team of John Cena and Logan Paul vs. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
CM Punk started the show showing signs of frustration. He claimed that, though it’s about money, he also wants the championship. He also mocked John Cena and the Rock, and stated he would go after John Cena if he wins the MITB. Sami Zayn entered the ring and told CM Punk that he hopes Punk wins the MITB briefcase and then the title. He informed CM Punk that he would be his first challenger if the latter becomes champion.
Stephanie Vaquer made her official main roster debut today and made an instant impact, defeating Ivy Nile and Liv Morgan. She has qualified for the Women’s MITB Ladders match. She now joins Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Naomi, Giulia, and Roxanne Perez. These six women will face each other in a ladder match to claim the MITB briefcase on June 07, 2025. Stephanie Vaquer, Liv Morgan, and Ivy Nile fought hard to qualify.
All three divas showcased some impressive moves like Devil’s Kiss from Stephanie Vaquer and Adios Amigos from Liv Morgan. Ivy Nile showcased the immense strength that she possesses. All three of them fought neck to neck and kicked out of numerous stalemates. Liv Morgan delivered a Code Breaker followed by Oblivion to Stephanie Vaquer. She went for the pin, but Ivy Nile pulled her out and tried to pin Stephanie, but Liv broke the pin.
Ivy Nile and Liv Morgan fought outside, and Ivy Nile threw the latter into the steel cage. She then went inside the ring but landed straight into the SVB from Stephanie Vaquer. Stephanie Vaquer pinned her and won the match.
Rusev delivered a promo for Sheamus, stating that the latter looked disappointed when he punished Akira Tozawa. He claimed that he was doing good work of fixing the weak. He blamed Sheamus for not helping him when he needed it most, and he had to leave WWE. Rusev warned Sheamus not to view him as a weak man like before and claimed that it is Sheamus who is weak now.
He called Sheamus a true legend and mockingly stated that it would be his honor to retire him. Sheamus responded, stating his career imploded because of his own wrong decisions. Sheamus mocked Rusev for showing his powers on a boy half his size and claimed someone has to teach him manners. Sheamus sends a clear message to Rusev, stating he bully bullies.
War Raiders dominated the match to its entirety, but all it needed was a moment to push them back and hand them a defeat. Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and JD McDonagh had a few brief moments where they dominated Eric and Ivar of the War Raiders. New Day tried to intervene, but the referee saw it and asked them to leave the ringside.
Finn Balor attempted a Coup de Grace on Ivar, but the latter moved out of harm’s way. Ivar went for a Moonsault from the third rope, but Roxanne Perez distracted him. The referee got distracted, and JD McDonagh slammed Ivar’s head on the ringpost. Finn Balor delivered a Coup De Grâce to Ivar and won the match.
The team of Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker dominated the match in the beginning, but a Tornado DDT from Sami Zayn to Bronson Reed gave them the required opening. Jey Uso was tagged in and tried to capitalize, but Bron Breakker was quick to cancel out their momentum. Bron Breakker set up for a super spear but walked straight into a super kick.
Jey Uso floored both Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed with a Suicide Dive. Just when Jey Uso was about to dominate, Seth Rollins delivered a Stomp to him outside the ring, and the match ended in disqualification. Bronson Reed, on the orders of Seth Rollins, was trying to end Sami Zayn’s career by landing a Tsumnami to him on the announce table, but CM Punk delivered a brutal chair shot to Bron Breakker and drove them away.
Liv Morgan confronted Finn Balor for adding Roxanne Perez to the team. Finn assured her that Roxanne Perez only means good, but Liv was not in the mood to hear anything. She asked Finn to keep Roxanne out of her matches. She left with Raquel Rodriguez to be present by her ringside during her match against Kairi Sane. Roxanne Perez dominated the match with her power, and Kairi Sane was agile enough to dominate for brief moments.
Liv Morgan tried to interrupt the match and distract the referee to give an unfair advantage to Raquel Rodriguez. Iyo Sky came to the aid of Kairi Sane and started assaulting Liv Morgan. Raquel grabbed Iyo Sky, and Kairi Sane delivered a brutal kick to the former’s head, and her head hit the ring post. Kairi Sane then delivered an Insane Elbow to her and won the match.
Gunther paid a visit to Jey Uso and praised him for all the efforts he his putting to remain champion. He told Jey that he is selfless in a very selfish business, which is why he would lose his title to him. Gunther told him that he runs to the aid of his friends, whether it’s Samy Zayn, Cody Rhodes, or CM Punk. His efforts to help his friends always leave him not 100% on match day. He reminded him that he ran to help Sami Zayn before SNME.
Gunther told Jey that he was sure Jey would run to help CM Punk today. He told Jey that he would help Cody Rhodes in a match against John Cena and Logan Paul at Money in the Bank, just two days before their match. Jey responded to Gunther this time with three letters, one word: Tap.
CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano faced each other in a triple-threat match for the MITB qualification. AJ Styles and CM Punk first get rid of El Grande Americano, but not for long. To the surprise of everyone, El Grande Americano dominated both CM Punk and AJ Styles. AJ Styles performed a Styles Clash on El Grande Americano, but CM Punk broke the pin.
CM Punk delivered a GTS to El Grande Americano and covered him, but Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker pulled him out. Chaos erupted when Sami Zayn and Jey Uso came to the aid of CM Punk. AJ Styles was setting up for a Phenomenal Forearm when Bronson Reed backed into him and former lost his balance. AJ, with a Suicide Dive, took everyone and went for Phenomenal Forearm.
El Grande Americano again used a Steel Plated Headbutt and took out AJ Styles to win the match and qualify for the MITB ladder match. An angry CM Punk went after Bron Breakker, but Seth Rollins came to his aid. CM Punk and Seth Rollins fought inside the ring, but Bron Breakker took down CM Punk with a Spear. Bron Breakker, Seth Rollins, and Bronson Reed then took out CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso to close Raw.
