WWE Raw: Finn Balor Scored Another Victory Against Dragon Lee, All Thanks To JD McDonagh

Finn Balor defeated Dragon Lee in a singles match tonight to bring the momentum to Judgment Day again. Judgment Day needed to get some winning momentum after Finn Balor lost his match against AJ Styles last week, and Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez lost to Kabuki Warriors tonight.

Finn Balor, however, needed much support from JD McDonagh, who caused much-needed distraction in the match from time to time. This, however, didn’t go well with Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce, as he banned the JD McDonagh and Finn Balor from being by the ring side when Dominic Mysterio defends his title against AJ Styles tonight.

Finn Balor seemed to be happy and was seen smiling after getting banned from the ring side.

Finn Balor Keep His Record Intact Against Dragon Lee

Finn Balor has fought Dragon Lee twice in WWE and has beaten him both times. Dragon Lee, however, gave a great fight to Finn Balor. At one point, it felt like Dragon Lee would easily score a victory against Finn Balor, who seemed out of answers against the agility of Dragon Lee. He was able to counter almost every move from Finn Balor.

This is where outside intervention from JD McDonagh proved fruitful for Finn Balor. The distraction moved the momentum in Finn Balor’s direction multiple times. Dragon Lee took down JD McDonagh during the closing moments of the game, but this gave Finn Balor time to land Coup De Grace on him and pin him to win the match.

This win was not only vital for Judgment Day but for Finn Balor as well, who lost his last match against AJ Styles and was yearning for a win.
