WWE Raw: Asuka Receives Her New Opponent and It’s Not Who Everyone Thought It Would Be

Two most unpredictable divas qualifies for the QOTS final.

WWE received its two finalists for the Queen of the Ring tournament. Jade Cargill and Roxanne Perez faced each other to decide the second finalist. Asuka defeated Roxanne Perez, Ivy Nile, and Stephanie Vaquer in a fatal four-way to qualify for the semifinals and then defeated Alexa Bliss to reach the final of the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Roxanne Perez was the first one to qualify for the Queen of the Ring tournament by defeating Liv Morgan, Kairi Sane, and Rhea Ripley. Jade Cargill, on the other hand, faced Michin, Nia Jax, and Piper Niven in a fatal four-way to qualify. Their path crossed at Monday Night Raw tonight, where they faced each other in their race to the Queen of the Ring finals.

Jade Cargill and Asuka to Face Each Other at Night of Champions

Jade Cargill and Roxanne Perez played a game of cat and mouse at the beginning of the match when the latter slapped and ran. Jade Cargill, however, got hold of her and started punishing her. It was a match between Roxanne Perez’s agility and Jade Cargill’s strength. Jade dominated the match in the first half of the match with her strength. Roxanne’s bad guy mind helped her when Jade Cargill stuck her leg between the stairs and the ringpost.

Roxanne Perez then dominated the match for some time, delivering her best moves, but could not keep Jade Cargill down. Jade Cargill gained momentum and delivered a Spinebuster. She then delivered a Powerbomb followed by Jaded to pin Roxanne Perez and win the match. She enters the final of the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Jade Cargill will now face Asuka at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the Queen of the Ring crown. The winner will get an opportunity to challenge for a title at SummerSlam.
