WWE Friday Night SmackDown: This Superstar returned and attacked Cody Rhodes in the closing moments of Friday Night SmackDown

The enemy count of Cody Rhodes increasing day by day with WrestleMania few months away.

Cody Rhodes has a target on his back till he is the WWE Undisputed Champion and It seems every WWE superstar has turned against him. He just got rid of Kevin Owens in a ladder match at the 2025 Royal Rumble. The victory against Kevin Owens took a toll on his body preventing him from addressing the media. The extent of the injuries is still unknown but it is clear that he is not fully recovered.

CM Punk announced him as a challenger for Cody Rhodes on Raw. Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre also declared that they are after the WWE Undisputed Championship. Jey Uso entered SmackDown but was not sure whether to choose Gunther or Cody Rhodes for the WrestleMania title match. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso were praising each other when Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga entered and a brawl started between the New Bloodline and Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes.

Solo Sikoa returned to Royal Rumble and attacked Cody Rhodes to close WWE SmackDown

Solo Sikoa entered the ring in the ending moments of SmackDown and delivered a Samoan Spike to Cody Rhodes. These two superstars have had quite a history between them. The American Nightmare was one of the prime reasons behind Solo’s loss against Roman Reigns in the Tribal Combat at the Netflix Premiere of Raw. He took Kevin Owens out of the Tribal Combat to even the odds when the latter attacked Roman Reigns. It gave Roman the shift in momentum he required. This was Solo’s second appearance after his loss to Roman Reigns.

Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga were scheduled to wrestle in a stage team match against the team of Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. The intense match between these superstars went to and fro but was mostly dominated by the new Bloodline. The brutal match ended when Cody delivered a Cross Rhodes to Tama Tonga. The after-effect of the ladder match could easily be seen on Cody Rhodes. The celebration lasted only a few seconds as Solo Sikoa entered the ring and delivered a Samoan Spike to close SmackDown.
