The WNBA season is fast-moving towards All-Star territory. Thus, it is high time that teams pick up their slack before it is too late. One such team is the Dallas Wings (5-13). They have a promising rookie, Paige Bueckers, but they can do much more.

The team traded away power forward NaLyssa Smith and may be loading more moves. But as of now, they will have to tackle a tough opponent in the Phoenix Mercury (12-5). Can the Mercury resume their winning ways against the vulnerable Wings?

Here is a look at my favorite Same Game Parlay for the match.

WNBA Same Game Parlay Pick #1- Points- Satou Sabally O 18.5 points

Sabally is the leading scorer for the Mercury. She is averaging 19.1 points per game this season. However, her numbers are down lately. Sabally is averaging 15.4 PPG in the last five games, with a 25-point performance inflating the stats.

Apart from that, she has scored 15 or fewer points in the rest of the games. The Mercury forward scored 20 in the last encounter against the Dallas Wings. As for this match, I do believe she is up for a big scoring night after a cooldown period. So, I pick the All-Star to go “Over” the mark.

The Mercury had a period where they scored 89 or more in three straight games (100+ twice). On the other hand, the Wings usually struggle to score even more than 80 points. So, their recent success has been built behind strong defensive pressures.

But an elite team like Mercury can punch holes in more ways than not. So, how does that set up the scoring slate? The bookmakers believe a late 160s score is achievable here. I believe both teams will at least score 85 here, and Mercury’s points tally can reach 90. I expect the score to go “Over” here.

At any rate, I’ll stick to just two selections, avoiding a big risk by going for three selections.
