The Indiana Fever won the Commissioner’s Cup championship 74-59 against the Minnesota Lynx. It was a huge win considering that the team was without its franchise face, Caitlin Clark.
On the other hand, the Las Vegas Aces are in dire straits. They are barely a playoff team, but a turnaround is always on the cards with perennial MVP candidate A’ja Wilson. Will Wilson lead her Aces past the motivated Fever? Here is a look at my Same Game Parlay pick for the game.
The Fever has breached the 90+ points mark regularly this season with or without Caitlin Clark. On the other hand, while the Aces have struggled to get near the mark, they have the firepower to get near 90 or so every game.
Defensively, both teams also concede 85+ regularly. The last meeting between the two hit 170 points. Thus, I’d be comfortable in opting for “Over” here.
| Pick | Odds (BetMGM) |
| Total O 163.5 | -110 |
| A’ja Wilson O 20.5 points | -110 |
| Jackie Young O 4.5 Assists | -110 |
The Las Vegas Aces’ power forward, A’ja Wilson, remains the offensive powerhouse. She is second in the WNBA with points per game with 21.6 PPG. The PF has scored 22 or more in four straight games.
The Fever defense limited leading scorer Napheesa Collier to just 12 points, but I think Wilson will be able to score at least 23 here. Remember, she had 24 points against the Fever during the last meeting.
Jackie Young has acted as a major playmaker as Chelsea Gray’s assist numbers have been down. She has averaged 3.9 assists per game this season, but has dropped many more dimes lately. The guard is averaging 5 APG in the last seven games.
She has served 5 or more assists in six of the last seven games. Young tallied 7 assists in the last match-up against the Fever. I believe she will serve at least 5 assists here.
I usually opt for two Parlay picks (If allowed) to avoid big risks. However, Young’s dime-dropping abilities caught my eye while sifting through the picks. Thus, I have taken a traditional three-piece SGP here.

WNBA SGP: ML: Total O 163.5, Wilson O 20.5 points, and Young O 4.5 assists for +260 at BetMGM

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
