WNBA Same Game Parlay: Liberty vs Sparks Prediction- 07/03/2025

The New York Liberty (11-5) must be pondering their chances to repeat as the champions. As the season heads into the All-Star break in two weeks, the Liberty has a lot of soul-searching to do. Meanwhile, their upcoming opponents, the Los Angeles Sparks (5-12) are in even bigger trouble.

The team risks not making the playoffs for the fifth straight year. But this is also their best chance to win against the weakened champions and turn their season around. Will they be able to do that in an interesting match-up? Here is a look at my favorite Same Game Parlay picks for the match-up.

WNBA Same Game Parlay Pick #1- Spread- Sparks +12.5

The bookmakers reckon a huge double-digit win for the Liberty despite their recent struggles. LA has lost a ton of games by 15+ points. They will have a ton of trouble against even a weakened team led by Breanna Stewart.

Their recent twin losses against 10th 10th-ranked team, the Chicago Sky, don’t exude a lot of confidence either.

However, I don’t think the Sparks will lose by that much. The Liberty is a shell of itself after losing Jonquel Jones. Sabrina Ionescu is dealing with a ton of pain, too. Thus, the Sparks, which has a solid core, has a strong chance of covering the spread here. I assume it is a safe pick here.

WNBA Same Game Parlay Pick #2- Kelsey Plum O 19.5 points

Kelsey Plum is enjoying another All-Star season. She is leading the Sparks with an excellent average of 20.6 points per game. It is just the second time in her eight-season career that she has tallied over 20 PPG. The guard has scored 20 or more in four of the last five games.

Overall, Plum has scored 20 or more in nine of the 16 appearances. I see her touching mark here against the vulnerable Liberty defense.

I am opting for just two SGP picks to avoid risks. A strong performance from Plum can translate into the Sparks covering the spread. Thus, the picks align with each other.
