The LA Sparks registered a much-needed win to keep their playoffs hopes alive on Sunday. They began the contest with a strong performance, achieving a 22-11 advantage in the opening period. The Mystics delivered a 20-18 effort during the second quarter.
The visitors narrowed the difference even more by outscoring the Sparks 18 to 15 in the third quarter. They once more surpassed the Los Angeles team in the fourth quarter, yet the Sparks claimed the game with an 81-78 final score.

Dearica Hamby achieved a double-double consisting of 20 points along with 12 rebounds in her performance. Kelsey Plum also contributed with 18 points for the Sparks. For the Washington Mystics, Kiki Iriafen scored 22 and collected 13 rebounds.

The Golden State Valkyries secured a crucial victory on Sunday over the Fever in the contest. They had the perfect start with a 25-14 lead in the first quarter. Likewise, the Valkyries preserved their advantage as they progressed into the second quarter of the game.
The Indiana Fever reduced the deficit with a 16-11 performance in the third quarter. However, the Valkyries finished the contest strongly and secured a 75-63 victory in the end. They have now climbed to the 6th spot, further boosting their post-season credentials.
Illiana Rupert tallied 21 points, while Veronica Burton recorded 13 assists on behalf of Golden State. Aerial Powers scored 17 points, while Kelsey Mitchell contributed 14 for the Indiana Fever team.
