WNBA Player Props Picks featuring Paige Bueckers- 06/28

Shubham Singh

The Saturday WNBA slate has a sole fixture between the Washington Mystics and the Dallas Wings. The Wings are 4-13 after a disappointing 86-94 loss to the Caitlin Clark-less Indiana Fever. On the other hand, the Mystics punched a 94-83 win against the Las Vegas Aces in their latest encounter.

The Wings vs Mystics encounter will feature budding stars like Paige Bueckers and Sonia Cintron, making it a fun avenue for betting enthusiasts. Here is a look at the best player props for the encounter based on BetMGM.

WNBA Player Props Pick #1: Arike Ogunbowale- Points

Ogunbowale has been in fabulous form lately after a poor start. She scored 15 in the last game, but has scored 19 or more in four of the six games before that. She is a typical streaky shooter, who can have 30 one night and then just 9-10 the next game.

It makes her a risky pick, but her trigger-happy approach also increases the likelihood of a big scoring night. Thus, I’d go for the “Over” mark here.

WNBA Player Props Pick #2: Paige Bueckers- Assists

Bueckers has not only been an impressive scorer (18.4 PPG), but her playmaking (5.8 APG) has been incredible too. Usually, you expect a drop-off from an athlete as they go into their rookie year from their last season, but not Bueckers. She averaged fewer than 5 assists/game in her last three NCAA seasons.

The uptick is remarkable as the offensive maestro has compiled 6 or more assists in three of the last four games. Thus, going for “Over” makes sense

WNBA Player Props Picks #3: Sonia Citron- Three-Pointers

The Mystics’ rookies have been amazing, but Citron has been one of their best picks in the recent drafts. The former Notre Dame phenom has replicated her NCAA heroics in the WNBA.

She nailed 1.6 three-pointers a game in the final NCAA season and has also knocked down 1.6 threes per game in her debut WNBA season. The amazing shooter has hit 2 or more in three of the last four games. I believe she will cross the 1.5 three-pointers projection here.

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
