WNBA Player Props featuring Angel Reese- 07/06/2025

Shubham Singh

The WNBA is heading into the All-Star realm. Many players who were not selected for the contest would play with a chip on their shoulders. Meanwhile, those who made it will be even more confident.

On July 6, we have a three-game bonanza, and each game contains some of the brightest W stars. Thus, let us look at my favorite Player Props pick from each game. The list is in order of preference.

WNBA Player Props Pick #1- Points- Angel Reese (Minnesota Lynx vs Chicago Sky)

Reese was the latest Eastern Conference Player of the Week. And for good reason. Her play has transformed from sub-par to excellent in a few weeks. She is averaging 12.4 points per game for the season but has scored 17 or more in three straight games.

The bookmakers are still conservative about their estimates because she is going to encounter stiff inside defense from Napheesa Collier and Alanna Smith. But the Lynx played against the physical Golden State Valkyries just last night.

It means they will be exhausted, allowing Reese to get going. Thus, I assume an “Over” here is the safest pick.

Here is an overview of my picks:

PickBetMGM Odds
Angel Reese O 14.5 Points-120
Nneka Ogwumike O 17.5 Points-105
A’ja Wilson O 23.5 Points-105

WNBA Player Props Picks #2- Points- Nneka Ogwumike (New York Liberty vs Seattle Storm)

Nneka Ogwumike recently passed former LA Sparks teammate Candace Parker for #7 in the All-Time Scoring List. She is having another fantastic scoring season. She is averaging 17.4 PPG, scoring 20+ in 8 of her 18 appearances.

Ogwumike put up 26 in the last encounter against the NY Liberty. The post-up maestro will have a lot of space to work without Liberty’s center Jonquel Jones in the picture. Thus, I see her crossing the estimated 17.5 points mark easily.

WNBA Player Props Pick #3- Points- A’ja Wilson (Connecticut Sun vs Las Vegas Aces)

Wilson has continued to be the most reliable offensive option for the struggling Aces (8-9). However, even her numbers are down. She has averaged 22.1 PPG this season compared to 26.9 PPG last season. But that doesn’t mean her impact is down.

She has put up 24 or more in three of the last five games. During the last encounter against the Sun, she had 22, as the Aces emptied the bench early after building a big lead. Anyway, I’d expect Wilson to clear the points tally here.

nba nba

Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
