The Las Vegas Aces (8-9) are undergoing tumultuous times after their twin championships in 2023 and 2024. As we head into the WNBA midseason, they have a lot to ponder upon. However, they can notch an easy win to get on track
On July 6, the Aces will square off against the struggling Connecticut Sun (2-15). Will the Aces stomp through the Sun or will they commit another blunder this season? Here is my favorite WNBA Same Game Parlay for the contest.
The spread of around 17 points in favor of the Aces looks bloated but makes sense. The Sun is on a nine-game losing streak and has lost seven of these games by at least 17 points. An injury to leading scorer Marina Mabrey has worsened their woes.
On the other hand, the Aces haven’t been impressive, either. They lost by 27 points in another shoddy display against the Caitlin Clark-less Indiana Fever. However, this is a gimme for the Aces, as they have various matchup advantages. I pick them to cover the high spread.
| Pick | BetMGM Straight Odds |
| Spread: Aces -16.5 | -110 |
| A’ja Wilson O 9.5 Rebounds | -140 |
| Chelsea Gray O 1.5 Three-Pointers | +110 |
Only A’ja Wilson has been the consistent option for the LV Aces. She has continued to perform as expected and has been left with little support. In addition to her strong scoring (22.1 points/game), she has been a resilient rebounder.
The Aces superstar is averaging 9.4 rebounds/game but has collected single-digit boards in seven of the last nine games. However, I see the Sun missing a ton of shots, presenting Wilson the opportunity to clean up 10 rebounds at least.
WNBA SGP- Aces -16.5 and Wilson O 9.5 Rebounds for +190 at BetMGM

Gray has been a tad inconsistent with her long-range shot. However, her makes are up from 1/game last year to 1.7/game this year. The guard has knocked fewer than two in three straight games.
A vulnerable Sun perimeter defense can open things up here. Hence, I see her knocking down a couple of long-range bombs here.
Player Props: Chelsea Gray O 1.5 Three-Pointers for +110

nba Hi, I am Shubham. I am currently an NBA Predictions Writer on The Playoffs. I enjoy this job because it helps keep me in the loop about the game I love while fulfilling the pleasure I derive from stats. I got into NBA writing through social media interactions in the mid-2010s as I shared my takes on young talents such as D’Angelo Russell. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as Dennis Rodman loved rebounding the basketball!
