The Los Angeles Sparks are all set to clash in a state clash against their neighbors, the Golden State Valkyries. Both the sides are placed below in the WNBA table and look to restore their chances for the playoffs.

The Sparks were on a three-game skid, slipping to a .333 record before bouncing back. Despite starting the season on strong terms, Sparks have their momentum derailed due to recent hiccups. Los Angeles broke the streak after winning against the Dallas Wings on Friday.

The Sparks cruised past the Wings, who were without Paige Bueckers. They registered a 93-79 win with Azura Stevens stealing the show by scoring 21 points. Dearica Hamby followed closely with a solid 20-point performance. Kelsey Plum came closest to a double-double, finishing with 11 points and 9 assists.

Golden State Valkyries have been an unpredictable team in their inaugural season so far. They have a poor record .375 but their previous game against the Las Vegas Aces was a premium. Valkyries shook the Aces by snapping a four game losing streak. They went on to win the WNBA game by 95-68.
