WNBA Injury Report Chicago Sky vs. Dallas Wings: Crucial Injury Update Ahead of Classic Showdown between Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers

Gulshan Sharma

Ahead of a crucial WNBA showdown, let's figure out the injury report for both teams.

Two out-of-form sides, Chicago Sky and Dallas Wings will lock horns in the highly-anticipated matchup of the WNBA season on Thursday. The Sky are winless after four games in the season and Wings have secured just one win out of three. The pressure is on both star players to find a winning momentum through this game.

Chicago Sky had a four-point lead heading to the final quarter against the Mercury but final quarter slump handed them a fourth consecutive loss in the season. Sky have been outscored by 46 points in second-half in all four matches and they could’t even win a single quarter during the process. It would be a frustrating start for Sky if they drop one more game.

On the flip side, the Wings ended their three-game losing streak after beating the Sun 109-87 on Tuesday. Paige Bueckers dropped 21 points and Arike Ogunbowale had 19. Dallas got their momentum but they can’t slip it again. The Wings scored this season’s highest points and were only the second team to cross the 100-point mark in the regular season. They have to keep their offensive strength high to counter Sky in this road matchup.
